 The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2003 with the objective of imparting knowledge in cutting-edge technologies in Information Technology.  The department started its journey with an intake of 40 students  with a team of dynamic, young and dedicated staff with specialization in Information Technology. The Department has well equipped two laboratories with 30 Computer Systems each with facilities that are vital to train the students in state-of-art software, hardware and networking.

 The Department's faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of the latest developments and trends in the IT industry. They strive to provide their students with an engaging and challenging learning experience, by incorporating hands-on projects, seminars, and industry visits into the curriculum.  The Department also places a strong emphasis on research and development, encouraging its faculty members and students to undertake research projects that can lead to innovative solutions and advancements in the field of IT. 

 The department also has tie-ups with leading IT companies to provide students with industry exposure and opportunities for internships and placements.  Since its inception, the Department of Information Technology has produced a large number of successful diploma holders who have gone on to establish themselves in various IT-related fields. The department is committed to maintaining its reputation as a leading institution in the field of Information Technology and continuing to produce skilled and competent professionals for the industry.
